Fatigue is present for months, sometimes years before a serious condition is diagnosed and more often than not, is an indication of an underlying abnormality.

Fatigue may be caused by multiple reasons:

-poor quality sleep or lack of sleep

-poor eating habits

-no exercise

-alcohol and/or caffeine consumption before bedtime

-hormonal problems (low estrogen, low progesterone, abnormal thyroid function, POTS etc.)

-medications (stimulants that interfere with sleep etc.)


It is very important to address the root cause of fatigue, rather than just treat the symptom.
